Next Gen Leadership Travel Awards

AGBT is proud to offer ten full-ride scholarships to enable promising graduate students, postdocs, and early-career researchers across the globe to attend AGBT’s flagship General Meeting at no cost.

These full-ride scholarships cover travel, lodging, and registration. To apply for a Next Gen Leadership Award, you must be affiliated with an institution typically under-represented at AGBT. (Historically Black College or University, HBCU, as an example) Submit an abstract and you’ll be prompted for the next steps to apply for the award.

Criteria for Applying for a Next Gen Leadership Award: Eligibility

• Graduate Student
• Postdoctoral Fellow
• Early-Career Researcher (in the first five years of being an independent researcher)
• Current Visa if applying from outside the United States
